I am very happy you have found TBGreats.com! The idea for TBGreats.com came around my freshman year in college which was about early 2002. Prior to having the ".com" the site was primarily devoted to the famous racehorse Man o' War. I had read Walter Farley's book on him, and fell in love with him. I searched the internet for more information, but found that no one site had all the information I wanted. So, I read up on how to make websites and created my own site for him. The site has changed a bit since the first one I made, but it is now part of TBGreats.com and can be found by clicking here.

After I had made the Man o' War site, I got e-mails from numerous visitors asking me to make another site on a racehorse. So the next site I made was dedicated to Ruffian. From there, I found even more people wanted more sites to be made. At this point I had entered college and thought it was time to get a ".com."

I was hosted for free by Geocities at the time, and they also offered domain hosting. So I signed up, and created TBGreats.com. I put a poll up on the main page, and Seabiscuit and Cigar were voted as the next sites to be made.

And here we are, March of 2006, and although I have neglected the site a bit, I am ready to make some major changes. It was hard to juggle college life and work and keep up the site, and it still is now as I finish my last semester at UMass-Amherst, but I am motivated to overhaul the site.
